Undeniably, the frugal consumers ultimately have the upper hand in the economy. To make matters worse, Conde Nast and Hearst continues its dominance in terms of its viewership with the likes of Vogue, Harpers Bazzar and Marie Claire — it’s hard to pull regulars away from their usual. Time bowed out of the competition with its fateful decision to fold Time Style & Design. So I raise my September issue to you Time and I bid you farewell and leave you with a pat on the back and an acknowledgement of your efforts.
