If quantification of morality was possible, S.I. Newhouse would rate it a one out of twenty for his employees at Condé Nast. With the suggestion of Lucky Publisher, Gina Sanders, S.I. has hired D.C. crisis manager and media coach, Michael Sheehan, to boost moral and the publishing house’s image.
Even if you can sell bell bottoms to Convince me that it’s surprising that morals are low after 500 layoffs and shuttering doors to six magazines — Cookie, Gourmet, Modern Bride, Domino, Elegant Bride and Portfolio.
Sheehan was former President Bill Clinton’s former moral support and was AIG’s go-to-guy before Barack Obama’s bailout, not to mention that even Obama contracted Sheenhan. [NY Post]
